My question is Steel Wind Strike trigger Conjure Minor elementals dmg per hit? I consider it a decent combo for pseudo Aoe dmg. Any feedback on how legit it is? I mean the range of SWS is 30 feet and CME is 15, but, SWS description kind of mean the PC hit the all in a flash.
Not legit. You don't actually teleport to each target.
You flourish the weapon used in the casting and then vanish to strike like the wind. Choose up to five creatures you can see within range. Make a melee spell attack against each target. On a hit, a target takes 6d10 Force damage.
You then teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 5 feet of one of the targets.
Note that it doesn't state you're adjacent to any of them. I'd rule that you still get the emanation in your original location, but I can see an argument that you've "vanished".

As RAW I can see that but I would argue that you move fast to hit each one hence the melee spell attack XD

Yeah, the flavor is very likely that. But you asked if it was legit, so you can't exactly ignore RAW. Also, melee attacks don't have to be within 5 ft. of the target.

You are right, it was wishful thinking on my part for it to work.

That would also mean you take an attack of opportunity from each one of them as you move out of their reach. And you don't want to take attack of opportunity 4 times for any reason.

Not if you were teleporting. Which is what you do at the end of the spell, so it is logical to think you are teleporting between each target.
Melee attack's don't have to be within 5 ft. of the target, but as written you do literally flourish the weapon used in the casting of the spell which means you are attacking with your casting weapon, so whatever the range of that specific weapon is would be your melee attack range for the spell. If we are taking what's written as the only useful information, that is. To make a melee attack you have to be in melee range, you would have a 5 foot melee range by default in 99% of cases, 5 feet is within the 15ft range of CME emanating from your character, meaning you physically have to enter their space to make the strikes which gives CME the opportunity to also do damage. CME states no limitation on following speed, distance, distance over time, it is being created and spread from your character outwards meaning it is always there no matter where you go or how quickly you go. If you would permit something like scorching ray hitting a target 8 times in less than a second being able to trigger 8 separate CME attacks following suit, then there's no way you can in good logical faith say that CME can't follow you as you teleport from target to target and strike with you in that instant.

Nothing in the description of SWS actually says you move until the teleport at the end. It's one of the ways to conceptualize the spell, but it has no inherent effect. The spell does what it says it does, which is, when you get down to it, making five melee spell attacks, not with the weapon, then teleporting.
Could a DM rule that you actually move, with all the attendant effects? Sure, and it probably doesn't break balance by doing so. But moving the character around is messy, and the GM should be prepared for that.

As has been stated: The spell doesn't say you teleport between the attacks, just at the end (if you choose to). Rather, the flourish can be interpreted as triggering magic that hits them as if you had teleported. Additionally, the damage type and dice would hint that you aren't actually hitting with the weapon, but rather channeling the magic through it. CME only applies if they're already in the AoE when you cast SWS.
I actually played an Illusionist with this spell. He was... Not great at Conjuration spells. They were a weakness of his. I ended up giving nearly any Conjuration spell he learned an Illusion twist.
Steel Wind Strike was done by creating overlapping illusions of the five targets and thrusting a weapon through them all. Any who managed to dodge (which would make the illusion dodge along with them) explained how the attacks missed. Then, if he wanted to teleport, he'd attach himself to one of the five illusions and follow it back as it snapped into the enemy and inflicted the damage.

No, flourish means that you are gesturing with the weapon. Nothing about the spell effect involves the actual weapon. I don't know why they bothered with the material component of a costly weapon.
Much like a Reach weapon is a melee attack within 10 feet, the spell attacks are melee spell attacks within 30 feet. You then deal the spell damage, do not apply mastery properties, and do not add an attribute modifier. Note that if you are attacking a Prone target more than 5 feet from you when you cast the spell, you will have Disadvantage on the attack. If you are within 5 feet when you cast the spell, you will have Advantage instead.

There is no mention of you moving to each target and there is no mention of whether you can be subject to opportunity attacks.

No, regardless of how it works, because attacks of opportunity only trigger on movement.
Now, the battlemaster's riposte is another question entirely

You must teleport to an unoccupied space that you can see within 5 feet of one of the targets. It's not optional.
How to add Tooltips.
My houserulings.
Huh. They changed it in 2024 apparently. Dumb change, but sure.
I always did anyway, my wizard liked being in melee.
