I'm playing a Raven Queen Patron (UA) Warlock, and I was wondering if I could attack someone with Eldritch Blast from afar, given that I have Spell Sniper and Eldritch Spear, which would my my effective range for EB 600ft. Given that I have the Sentinel Raven: "You can see through the raven’s eyes and hear what it hears while it is within 100 feet of you." So if I can't see the enemy directly (i.e. a direct line of sight), but I position my raven so that I can see them through its eyes, could I attack with EB ignoring cover or any disadvantages posed upon me?
Spell Sniper already lets you ignore half cover and three-quarters cover. If they are behind full cover you cannot hit them because I am fairly certain Eldritch Blasts travel in a straight line so will therefore hit whatever the enemy is hiding behind and not the enemy
600 feet is nice but I have never found myself in a position to use it. Sniper is nice for 240 feet and loss of cover. For my bonus cantrip, I take the fireblast one just in case I want to set things on fire but I've never used that either.
Interesting. I have been pondering spell sniper from a design standpoint, but rarely end up in >120 ft encounters. Many encounter maps don't even cover that much room. Its good to know my experience isn't abnormal. Overcoming cover is probably the stronger feature for most EB warlocks.
We have a possibility of moving into a spelljammer style campaign and 600 ft might be more applicable there.

Now that would be a great use for 600 foot range! ship to ship combat. Punching holes at the waterline would be a serious deterrent to closing with you. and Spelljammer!!! You would be a ships weapon all by yourself! You would never lack for employment.
Did they change it or completely removed it? If it's the latter it's quite sad! I'm quite enjoying playing a warlock with her as a patron, it's really fun both mechanically and thematically.
The UA pdf file I had didn't say that as the Raven isn't a familiar per se, but a feature of the Raven Queen. I can see and hear everything the raven can as long as it is 100ft of me. Wich if you think about it would be really weird because you would see a stereoscopic image through your eyes and two separate lateral images from the raven.
Such range becomes extremely situational, and it puts you in a position where if it comes up, it's going to be a while before anyone else is able to do anything. in the meantime youre hogging the spotlight while the poor DM and rest of the party watch you and you alone tossing dice for several rounds.

The Raven Queen Warlock UA came out before they started making a habit of implementing UA in the D&DB Character Builder. I think the first one that they did was the Brute Fighter. It's a shame, because the Raven Queen Warlock was one of my favorite UA's. I played one in Curse Of Strahd and let me tell you that Sentinel Raven is SUPER useful! If there was any UA that never made it to an official book that I'd want to see, that's the one. Even more than the infamous Revised Ranger.

The Raven Queen is also very dead UA. It was archived a few years ago, if I am correct.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)

Do you really want that?
