I was viewing vidios and i thought how could i play a lv 1 wizard who was made to rescue people from disasters such as rock falls, cave ins, forest fires and the like (a.k.a rescue wizards) but i could not think of school i should go
spell light, Floating Disk, Feather Fall, Jump
Ok here is my question. if you were making a wizard around this thought how would you do it?

mold earth, shape water, control flames...gotta have that. none of the schools really fit though. druid probably fits better, but to keep it wizardy, i'd do a homebrew school and kind of merge in some of the druid stuff and somehow throw in some rock climbing / swimming stuff.
Transmutation would let you lift rocks, move water etc. Someone stuck in a fire: control flames. Someone drowning: shape water. Simple things can help. Or you can transmute rock and lift loads...

You can also give your Stone to people to protect them. Or destroy it to save them entirely.

Divination, Transmution, or Conjuration are the three obvious choices for which school to choose.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

i get why conjuration, Divination and abjuration
But why would Transmutation work and if you make a homebrew school you would have to work it out with DM so that may not work out all the time

You saving people? From a role playing point of view that definitely means Abjuration.
Meta-gaming, I could see Conjuration or Divination.
