The Sleeping Devil is a small statue, usually somewhere around 22 centimeters tall and 10.5 cm wide. It is made out of wood, stone, or clay. It is shaped somewhat like a gargoyle with closed eyes. When a creature within 10 ft of the statue looks at it, the eyes suddenly open and reveal a bright red light. That creature and all other creatures in the area make a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw. On a success, they become immune to the statue's effects for 24 hours. On a failure, they fall unconscious. The creature can be awoken by normal means (being shaken, slapped, etc.) or after 1 hour has passed.
