The Scythe Wondrous battleaxe, legendary (requires attunement)

The is the legendary axe of the Vampire Slayer wielded by Buffy Summers and Melaka Fray. (If used by a slayer, it can also haste the user, twice/day, no after effect).

• +3 to hit / +3 damage (+4 to hit / +4 damage if used by a slayer).
• If used one-handed, it may be used as a spear (1d6 piercing damage) or battleaxe (1d8 slashing damage).
• If used two-handed, wielder does not receive the greater damage dice of the battle axe (i.e., it remains 1d8); however, as an additional action (per the nick rule), wielder may make a second attack with the spear end as if wielding two weapons (ability bonuses added to both attacks; no feat required).
• Qualifies as a Monk weapon and a finesse weapon.

As an Improved Mace of Disruption:

• Undead and fiends take an extra 2d6 radiant damage. If the target has 25 hit points or fewer after taking this damage, it must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be disintegrated. On a successful save, the creature becomes frightened until the end of the next turn. When used two-handed, both attacks have this function.
• While held, sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. Wielder may disable or reenable this function at will but doing so disables the radiant damage for the period when dark.

Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
