Weapon (longsword), varies (requires attunement)

A mystic blade forged with the blood of seven powerful tribal warriors. The spirits of their rage live on through this weapon of pure destruction.

This weapon has two forms, Bound and Unbound. The weapon is most commonly found in its bound form and is the very rare rarity. The item turns into a legendary if in its unbound form. The way to unlock its unbound form is when defeating a monster that is CR 4 or stronger, you roll a d10. If you roll a 10, the weapon goes through a seven-day transformation in which it cannot be used during that time.

This weapon has 10 charges in its bound form and 15 in its unbound form.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Flames of Rage. You can use 1 to 3 charges to ignite the blade with red, fiery energy, and it stays this way for 10 minutes. This effect ends prematurely if sheathed. While ignited, this weapon deals fire damage equal to some d10s equal to how many charges you used. While in unbound form, this weapon deals an extra 5 fire damage while ignited.

Blood Spell. You can use 3 charges to make blood swirl around the blade of this weapon. All creatures of your choosing within 15 ft. of you for the next 1 minute heal 3d4 hit points at the start of every turn. While in unbound form, this healing is buffed to d6s instead of d4s.

Blood Slice. You can spend 5 charges to create a burst of bloody energy centered on an enemy. Choose a creature within 90 ft. that you can see. The target and every creature within 30 ft. of it must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 5d10 bludgeoning damage. The target takes half damage on a successful save. While in unbound form, this weapon's DC for this ability is 19 and deals 5d12 instead.

Blood Cleave (Unbound Form Only). When you hit an enemy with a melee attack with this weapon, you can spend 7 charges to deal an extra 7d10 force damage. This damage cannot be affected by resistance, and immunity acts as resistance to deal half damage.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
