This intricate silver locket is located somewhere on the wearer’s body, clothing or armor, softly resonating with unseen temporal forces. It functions as a normal watch.

Properties:
While wearing the locket, once per short rest, when you fail an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, the locket activates, subtly revealing a fleeting glimpse of a better outcome. You may immediately re-roll the die, and must use the new result, even if it is lower.  

When triggered, the wearer sees a brief shimmering overlay—an afterimage of themselves adjusting their strike, words, or reaction just slightly toward success.
