The Seed of Eternity was created by Aldrich Starona, who combined the planar core from the Displacer and the Astral Metronome to create a device capable of emulating the power forbidden to mortals: immortality. By combining space and time manipulations, the device creates its own extra-dimensional space with its own chronology and universal bounds. Creatures which may inhabit the extra-dimensional space may have their collective belief harvested in order to gain the seed's benefits. You gain the following benefits when attuned.
Creature of Belief. Your creature type becomes Celestial or a creature type corresponding with the emerging deity's domain (up to DM discretion). If the creature is destroyed, they will reform within the Seed of Eternity within 1d12 days.
Cosmic Manipulations. You may cast 1/Day both Time Stop and Plane Shift.
Chrono-Acceleration. Manipulating the time within the Seed of Eternity affects the tempo of creatures attuned to the seed through the unnatural warping of time. As an action, you can accelerate the the passage of time within the seed, simultaneously altering your perceptions. As you acclimate to the new pace of the world around you, you benefit from the sensation that the world has become slower than you are used to, giving you more time for decision making and analysis.
For the first level of acceleration, you gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Intelligence score by 2, beyond the maximum of 20.
- You can take two reactions per turn.
For the second level of acceleration, you gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Intelligence score by 2, beyond the maximum of 20.
- You gain advantage on dexterity checks and dexterity saving throws.
- You gain disadvantage on constitution checks and constitution saving throws.
For the third level of acceleration, you gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Intelligence score by 2, beyond the maximum of 20.
- You gain an additional bonus action on your turn.
- At the end of each turn, make a DC 20 constitution saving throw or become stunned until the end of your next turn.
Razing the Seed. Destroying the seed also destroys all of the space inside of it. Only a Wish spell may destroy the seed outright, but destructive inter-dimensional physics may also destroy the seed.
Notes: a creature harnessing the collective belief of the inhabitants within the seed's extra-dimensional plane.
