Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement by a One can only be attuned through the Tattoo of Wynn- or must have Elven blood.)

A blackened, tipless blade forged of obsidian-like steel, etched with ancient lunar sigils that shimmer faintly under moonlight. The weapon is impossibly cold to the touch, its jagged edge bearing the wear of countless executions. It carries the gravity of finality—death, when dealt by this sword, does not wait to be undone.

  • You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls made with this magic weapon.
  • You gain a +5 bonus to damage rolls made with this weapon.
  • The sword is tipless, functioning as an executioner’s weapon and is designed more for lethal finishing strikes than precise combat.

When you hit a creature with this weapon, it becomes wreathed in pale, ghostly chains of lunar light. Until the end of a number of turns equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1), that creature can’t regain hit points by any means.

This includes regeneration, magical healing, or healing from racial features or class abilities. Healing attempts fail silently.

The sword does not exist in the physical world unless summoned. It is bound to the bearer through a celestial brand—a magical tattoo inscribed at birth or through destiny. As a bonus action, the wielder can summon the sword to their hand, wreathed in lunar flames. If disarmed, the blade returns to the bearer at the end of their next turn unless held within an anti-magic field.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
