The metal of this warhammer has been pitted and corroded by a powerful acid. Despite its damaged state it is still a dangerous weapon, and made even more so by a bulging organic sac grafted below the warhammer's head.
The weapon has been infused with the essence of a Ruin Spider by magically binding the spider's venom sac to the weapon. While the hammer is slightly less effective at bonking things (-1 penalty to damage), the spider's acidic venom will burn whatever it strikes (1d4 acid damage on hit) .
The wielder can also call upon the power of the warhammer to hurl a glob of acid at their enemies (Acid Splash cantrip).
Note: Ignore the topple property, there's no way to add an automatic damage penalty in DnD Beyond, so this uses the quarterstaff (1d6) as the base weapon template
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Damage: Acid, Bonus: Magic, Weapon Mastery: Push (Warhammer), Versatile, Topple
