Wondrous item (requires attunement by a barbarian of the World Tree)
Rarity: Very Rare (upgradeable to Legendary through divine trials)
These gauntlets are relics of Terminus, God of Foresight and Protection. One embodies the eternal defense of sacred law — the Root. The other channels divine judgment and clarity — the Rule. When worn together, they balance offense and defense, control and freedom, instinct and law.
Left Hand – Gauntlet of Root (The Grasp of Stillness)
Carved from ancient World Tree bark and cooled in divine silver, this glove radiates protection and unshakable conviction.
Rooted Resilience
While raging, you cannot be pushed, pulled, knocked prone, or teleported against your will.
You also gain advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws.
Guardian’s Reach (1/Short Rest)
As a reaction when a creature within 10 feet of you is hit by an attack, you may pull them 5 feet closer to you and intercept the blow:
You take half the damage they would have taken (after resistances).
If this would reduce you to 0 HP, you remain at 1 HP and your Rage does not end — once per long rest.
Earthen Clamp
When you successfully grapple a creature, spectral vines root them in place:
They are also restrained until the grapple ends, unless they succeed on a Strength save (DC = 8 + prof + STR mod) at the start of each of their turns.
Right Hand – Gauntlet of Rule (The Fist of Foresight)
Made of blackened celestial steel, this gauntlet crackles with divine law. Its fingers trace glowing runes across the air when raised in judgment.
Foresight Strike
Once per turn when you hit a creature while raging, you may declare judgment:
That target cannot take reactions until the start of its next turn.
If they attack anyone but you before then, they take psychic damage equal to your Rage Damage Bonus + your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1).
Vision of Order (1/Short Rest)
As a bonus action, you can channel Terminus’s divine foresight for 1 minute:
You gain advantage on Initiative checks and Wisdom saving throws.
The first melee attack you make each turn cannot be made with disadvantage and ignores half and three-quarters cover.
Once during this duration, you can force an enemy to reroll a saving throw or attack roll they just succeeded on.
-These bracers may be slip between TWO Path of the World Tree Barbarians and do stack with other bracers become one with them but still retaining the Root Like Appearance -
