Zephyrheart Amulet
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a druid)
Description:
This pendant is carved from a shard of rock from the core spire in Ea, its core a swirling sky-blue gem suspended in a delicate cage of silver wind-metal known as aetherglass. Tiny currents swirl within it, and when worn, the air around the bearer always stirs — rustling robes, whispering secrets, lifting stray snowflakes.
Windstep (1/day):
As a bonus action, you become a living current of air. Until the end of your next turn:
- You can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain.
- You are immune to opportunity attacks.
- Your movement increases by 20 feet.
- While in this form, you have advantage on Dexterity saving throws.
If you end your turn inside an object, you take 4d10 force damage and are ejected to the nearest unoccupied space.
Skycaller’s Gift:
- You learn the Gust cantrip (does not count against your number of cantrips known).
- Once per long rest, you can cast Warding Wind without expending a spell slot.
- You may also cast Feather Fall as a reaction once per long rest when you or an ally within 30 feet falls.
Elemental Focus:
- You gain advantage on Constitution saving throws made to maintain concentration on spells.
- Additionally, while concentrating on a spell with a wind, storm, or cold component (such as Entangle, Call Lightning, or Sleet Storm), your movement speed increases by 10 feet and you hover 1 inch above the ground.
Notes: Advantage: Constitution Saving Throws, Bonus: Speed, The first time HobLob used the amulet during a storm, it emitted a low harmonic tone that repelled the whispers of the cursed ice amulet. The two artifacts now sense each other — the Zephyrheart may offer HobLob a path to purification or fusion in the future.
