Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a warlock)

This bronze lamp is forged in the likeness of a tree, with each of its seven branches ending in a mote of flame, and the roots serving as a stand. 

The lamp has 7 charges and regains 1d6 + 1 charges daily at dawn.

As a Magic action you may light the lamp, as long as it has charges remaining. The flames are magical and do not require fuel. While lit, the lamp casts Bright Light in a 20-foot radius and Dim Light for an additional 20 feet. The flames snuff out when you expend the last charge, or when you take a Magic action to extinguish them.

When you take the Attack action, you can attack with the lamp if it is lit, using it as a Simple Melee weapon. On a hit, the target takes 1 fire damage.

You can use the lamp as a warlock spellcasting focus.

When you take the Magic action to cast a spell from the lamp, you use your spellcasting ability modifier and spell save DC.

Dormant

While holding the lamp in its dormant state you gain the following benefits:

  • As a Magic action you can expend 1 charge to cast Control Flames from it.
  • As a Magic action you can expend 1 charge to cast Produce Flame from it.
  • You have advantage on ability checks made to determine if a creature is lying.

Awakened

While holding the lamp in its awakened state you gain the following benefits:

  • As a Magic action you can expend 2 charges to cast Zone of Truth from it.
  • As a Magic action you can expend 2 charges to cast Flame Blade from it.
  • You can understand any spoken or signed language, and any creature that knows at least one language can understand you if that creature can hear your speech or see your signing.

Exalted

While holding the lamp in its exalted state the light cast by the lamp gains the following benefits:

  • Invisible creatures and objects are illuminated by the lamp's light as if they were visible.
  • Illusions illuminated by the lamp's light become faint.
  • Any creature illuminated by the lamp's light glows with a bright aura if it is not in its true form.

While holding the lamp in its exalted state you can take a Magic action to expend 6 charges to cast Sunbeam from it.
