Initially, this rapier serves as a magic weapon that provides a +1 bonus to all of the wielder's saving throws. Additionally, this weapon can be used as an arcane spell focus.
Whenever the wielder performs an act that is truly worth of song or thoroughly outsmarts
their opponent, they unlock the abilities listed below:

 

Luck of the Sagas. Once per day, if the sword is on your person, you can call on the luck of heroes to re-roll an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw after you have rolled the dice and take the better of the two roles.

Let the Music Soothe Your Soul. While attuned to this sword, you have advantage on any charisma check to calm violent emotions or counsel peace. This must be made in good faith, and cannot be an intimidation or deception check. Additionally, once per day, you can cast the spell Tongues.

It Takes Two to Tango. Once per day, when you give inspiration to an ally, you can also immediately recover a spell slot of up to 3rd level.

Music is a Force of Nature. While you are holding this weapon, it resonates with the power of your spells, amplifying their impact. Whenever you use this weapon as a spell-casting focus to cast a spell that would cause its targets to become charmed on a failed saving throw, the target makes that save at disadvantage.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
