Armor (studded leather), legendary (requires attunement)

The Vestment is a masterpiece of divine-artificer design, light armor traced with filaments of molten silver that pulse like veins beneath translucent crystal plating. It molds itself to the wearer’s frame and hums faintly, syncing to their heartbeat. In stillness, it glows softly; in motion, the glow fades into shadow.

You have a +3 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.

If you are attuned to Eravale's Vestment, you gain the following benefits:

Heart of Mercy: You gain 1 stack of Focus at the start of your turn while you are actively engaged in combat with at least one hostile creature.
You also gain a +3 bonus to all saving throws when you have at least a stack of Focus.

Heart of Malice: When you score a critical hit with a ranged weapon attack, your heart surges with divine malice. You deal additional damage equal to 1d8 radiant or necrotic damage (your choice) for each Focus stack you currently have, to a maximum of 10d8. This additional damage is not doubled by the critical hit. You can use this feature only once per turn.

This item is part of the Eravale's Legacy Set, granting it bonuses if you have the other items equipped:

If you are attuned to Eravale's Final Mercy:
Beacon of Mercy and Malice: When you damage or heal a creature using Eravale’s Final Mercy, you can expend 3 stacks of Focus to mark them with divine radiance visible only to you for 1 minute. You always know the direction and distance to a marked creature. Once per turn, when the marked creature makes an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you can use your reaction to invoke divine judgment:

- If the creature was damaged by your attack, it rolls a d8 and subtracts the result from its roll.
- If the creature was healed by your shot, it rolls a d8 and adds the result to its roll.

You can have only one creature marked by this feature at a time.

If you are attuned to Eravale's Shroud
Heartbeat:  At the start of your turn, you regain hit points equal to each Focus stack you currently have, to a maximum benefit of 10 stacks. This feature only functions while you are actively engaged in combat with at least one hostile creature

All Focus stacks last for 1 minute. If you enter initiative, you lose all Focus stacks.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
