Weapon (maul), legendary

a maul with a massive head with multiple mechanical systems inside of it, while heavy to wield, it is lighter than it should, this maul can discharge powerful shockwaves and empower allies with "petrichor" wellspirngs.

you gain a bonus to hit and damage equal to half you proficiency bonus while using this weapon.

blastcharge: as an action you can spend a charge to create  a short range shockwave form the front of the hammer, characters caught within a 15ft cone in front of you must make a DC=12+prof.bonus constitution saving throw or be knocked prone and receiving 2d6 bludgeoning damage, on a succesful save they receive half damage and are not knocked prone.

dodgecharge: as an action you can spend a charge to propel yourself for a short distance, you can move up to 20ft in any direction, as long as it is a straight line.

wellpsring:  as an action you can spend any number of charges to shoot a blast in on the ground in front of you and imbew it with arcane energy, creating a wellspiring (a 5ft radius in created adiecent and in fornt of you), whenever an allied character enters the wellspring (or passes trough it) they gain a bonus to ac and to hit equal to the charges spent (for example 2 charges spent grant a bonus of +2 to AC and to hit) the bonus lasts for as many turns as the amount of charges, if a character has benefitted from this feature it cannot benefit from it again until it finishes a short rest.

this weapons has 3 charges, you can reload as an action as long as you have a canister, you can craft one using the components ofr an haste spell or using a 3rd level spellslot during a long rest.

Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
