This flute appears to be made from the hollow bone of a large bird.  A delicate silver inlay near the mouthpiece depicts a songbird on the branch of a tree.

Any creature proficient with flutes may use the flute at will to produce the sound of any bird it has encountered.  The bird song reproduction is a perfect reproduction unless a listener passes an Intelligence(Arcana) check contested by the player’s Charisma(Performance) check.

Once per day, a creature wielding this Flute may cast Speak with Animals with the restriction that only birds may be understood.
