Weapon (crossbow, hand), very rare (requires attunement by a By anyone proficient, weapon is considered a cursed item.)

The weapons start out as a +2 sentient magic weapon that deals an additional 1d8 psychic damage, attacks with weapons other than the yandere weapons are at disadvantage. The personality begins to become more and more obsessed with the wielder, it becomes jealous of other interactions with sometimes refusing to function unless apologized to and will sometimes the weapon will make an attack against an ally it perceives as a threat to its relationship to the user. If the wielder falls to 0 hp an audible scream is heard and every creature within 20 ft take 5d8 psychic damage, functions only once per long rest. If the wielder attempts to break attunement with the weapon, the wielder recieves a psychic feedback and takes 5d8 psychic damage and can never attune to the item again.

 

Sentience-

The Yandere Hand Crossbow is a sentient chaotic neutral weapon with an Intellegence of 17, Wisdom of 12, Charisma of 19 and dark vision up to 120 ft.

The weapon can read and understand common and can communicate with the user through telepathically, it's voice is a honeyed and high pitched. While attuned the Yandere Hand Crossbow it knows all the languages the wielder does. 

Personality

The Yandere Crossbow speaks with an enthusiastic tone, ready and willing to help the wielder.

The crossbow's purpose is to protect the wielder, it will do anything it can to protect the wielder and to protect the relationship it's relationship with the wielder. Anyone that the crossbow sees as a threat to them must be eliminated.

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
