Wondrous Item, common

This spell scroll has been meticulously crafted by the Gith Artificer Xuurth and bears the words of a single 1st level spell, Sanctuary, written in a mystical cipher. If the spell is on your class’s spell list, you can read the scroll and cast its spell without providing any material components. Otherwise, the scroll is unintelligible. Casting the spell by reading the scroll requires the spell’s normal casting time. Once the spell is cast, the words on the scroll fade, and it crumbles to dust. If the casting is interrupted, the scroll is not lost.

Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range/Area: 30ft.
Components: VSM
Duration: 1 minute
Attack/Save: WIS 14
Source: PHB, pg. 272

You ward a creature within range against attack. Until the spell ends, any creature who targets the warded creature with an attack or a harmful spell must first make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature must choose a new target or lose the attack or spell. This spell doesn't protect the warded creature from area effects, such as the explosion of a fireball.

If the warded creature makes an attack, casts a spell that affects an enemy, or deals damage to another creature, this spell ends.
