Weapon (spear), artifact (requires attunement by a Attunement)

The Spear of Eden was spear-like object created by the gods. The Spear of Eden had the ability to permanently to disable enemies, as well has brief mind control. Nkt much is known about the spear, except that it was used to defeat Dendar, the World Serpent.

The Spear of Eden has 4 charges and regains all charges at dawn. A creature attuned to the spear can expend 2 charges to cast Charm Person (3rd level) with spell DC 17. When a creature attuned to the Spear of Eden is hit by a ranged attack, they can expend 1 charge as a reaction to gain resistance to that damage until the end of the turn. When a creature crits on a attack roll, they can expend charges to cut off a limb of the creature;

  1. 1 charge for a hand
  2. 2 charges for a leg
  3. 3 charges for a arm
  4. 4 charges for the head

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
