You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. There are runes on the central cylinder of this hand crossbow that are mystical in nature. For each attack roll 1d6 and consult the table below to determine what to add to the attack.

  2. 2 1d4 Lightning
  3. 3 Cold target must make a saving throw 10 + your Dex mod or have 10ft reduced movement
  4. 4 1d4 Necrotic the area that is hit by this attack can never be fully healed
  5. 5 1d4 Radiant 
  6. 6 1d4 Fire if this attack drops the enemy to 0 hit points they are incinerated

This weapon will not work against Dwarves in anyway

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
