The first person to pick up this sword becomes cursed and instantly attuned to this weapon. You may cast remove curse to allow one 30 minutes to unattune.
You gain +2 to attacks and damage made with this weapon. You also gain 2d6 Necrotic damage.
While attuned the sword calls out to you in battle demanding a sacrifice, if you do not comply the sword drains you anyways causing a point of exhaustion.
The Sacrifice- When you comply the sword stabs itself into and through your forearm with its stinger like hilt. The blade slowly spreads and engulfs your arm up to the shoulder. This effect grants +2 AC and allows you to wield the Two- handed with 1 hand and freeing up your other. Maintaining this transformation is draining, -1 Con and -2 Dex while in this form.
You may damage yourself when striking with this weapon during the transformation to deal extra necrotic damage. You can roll up to 4d10. Deal that amount of extra damage to your enemy and yourself(You can't mitigate this damage to yourself)
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Damage: Necrotic, Melee class, Damage, Combat, Shapechanging, Cursed, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
“You gain +2 to attacks and damage made with this weapon. You also gain 2d6 Necrotic damage.”
Does the greatsword deal the necrotic damage? Or does the wielder take necrotic damage?
