This greatsword was once the fang of Asclepius, the Greek God of snakes.
You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. You also deal an additional 2d6 poison damage, which ignores resistance and immunity, when you hit with this blade. On a critical hit this blade causes the creature being attacked to be poisoned.
Being attuned to this blade gives you blindsight out to 10 feet and gives you immunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
Due to the blade coming from the god of snakes, this blade will not harm any descendant of serpents, including yuan ti. You also have disadvantage to hit serpents with any weapon while attuned to this weapon.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
