Weapon (scimitar), rare (requires attunement by a Aarakocra)

The Songbirds of Aaqa are the epitome of Aarakocra craftsmanship. They have Telepathy out to a range of 60 feet. The two scimitars, Raven and Wren, must be attuned to separately. While attuned to one blade, you know the location of the other blade if they are on the same plane of existence. While attuned to both blades, you can hear the two bickering and arguing. If you telepathically communicate with either, it tries to promote itself at the expense of the other scimitar. The blades have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls.

Raven: The Raven has 3 charges. When you hit a creature with the Raven, you can expend one charge to deal extra necrotic damage equal to 1d10 + half your level (rounded up) and gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt. The target then gains one level of Raven Rot. While attuned to Raven, you have resistance to necrotic damage. You regain one charge and 1d4 + your Constitution modifier hit points when you hit a creature.

Wren: The Wren has 3 charges. When you hit a creature with the Wren, you can expend one charge to deal extra radiant damage equal to 1d10 + half your level (rounded up) and select any number of friendly creatures within 60 feet of you. You can divide the damage dealt by the blade among all those creatures, turning them into regained hit points. Any creatures that regain hit points this way gain one level of Song Blessing. While attuned to Wren, you have resistance to radiant damage. You regain one charge and 1d4 + your Constitution modifier hit points when you hit a creature.

Raven rot: The target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or be afflicted by the disease. On a failed save, the target is poisoned for 10 minutes and can repeat the saving throw every minute, reducing the damage by 1d8 on a success. At the end of each of its turns, a creature takes 1d8 necrotic damage and you regain hit points equal to the damage dealt. Every time the target is subjected to this effect while already diseased, the damage increases by 1d8.

Song Blessing: This blessing lasts for 10 minutes, in which the target glows with dim light in a 5-foot radius and regain 1d8 hit points every minute. If the target gains this blessing while already blessed by it, it regains an extra 1d8 hit points every minute and lights up a 5-foot larger area.

While attuned to both, you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage from non-magical attacks, and you can expend charges from either blade to cast the following spells:

Wind Wall (1 charge), Fly (2 charges), Levitate (1 charge), Invisibility (2 charges) and Misty Step (1 charge)

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
