This weapon, intended to bring a silent end to those who would abuse their power, must be hand-forged only at night from blackened steel that has been buried in the grave of a murderer for a week.  Its black bladed is etched with the symbol of a needle on both sides of it, when attuned this etching glitters darkly with the blood sacrament of the person attuned to it. It has no crossguard giving the weapon a needle-like shape and acting as a warning to the wielder that they are not protected from the harm this blade can do. Finally, the grip of the blade is wrapped in the hide of a black dragon that had been killed before the end of its first year. To attune to this weapon its wielder must conduct an hour-long ritual that cannot be part of a long rest, at the conclusion of this ritual the wielder must cut themselves with the blade (dealing 1d6+Dex modifier piercing damage, at least 5 piercing damage,  to themselves) and fill the etchings of the dagger with their blood.

Once someone is attuned to the blade it cannot be drawn by from its sheath by anyone who is not attuned to it. Once drawn from the sheath the blade generates an area of silence as per the spell which affects everyone in range, including the wielder and their allies. Anyone who is within this area of silence is afflicted with a vulnerability to Piercing damage, including the user and their allies. 

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
