Wondrous Item, artifact

For millennia, Humans and Elves shared the lands of Edortia peacefully. However, when the humans laid siege to the Elven Colonies of Valissa 500 years ago, the Elves needed a weapon to help shift the tides.  That weapon was the Sector of Divinity - a carefully crafted orb with the power to draw upon the power of the heavens. The Sector drove back the human threat, effectively ending the aggression in a single battle. As quickly as the First War had begun, the Sector of Divinity had ended it.

After the conflict, the Elves feared the power of the Sector, and locked it away within the Vault of Ennelion for ages. As the threat of Azia emerges in modern times, the celestial power of the Elvish superweapon of old must be called upon once again.

Notes: Passively, gain the 'Celestial Sight' ability, which gives the wielder detailed vision of any celestial or demonic plane. The carrier must be located within that plane to gain vision of it. At 5th level, gain the spell 'Starlight Bolt'. A bolt of brilliant light streaks toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 3d10 radiant damage. Two beams at 9th level, three beams at 12th level, four beams at 15th level. At 10th level, gain the spell 'Divination'. Your magic and an offering put you in contact with a god or a god’s servants. You ask a single question concerning a specific goal, event, or activity to occur within 7 days. The GM offers a truthful reply. The reply might be a short phrase, a cryptic rhyme, or an omen. The spell doesn’t take into account any possible circumstances that might change the outcome, such as the casting of additional spells or the loss or gain of a companion. At 15th level, unlock the Artifact's ultimate power.
