Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a by a monk)

Created and wielded by the ancient warrior called Dyamak, these thick cloth strips of once enchanted material appeared to be stained with blood of unknown origin but had been drained of any magical enhancements when found in the vaults of Wave Echo Cave by the Drow Monk Soso. The Dwarf Gundren Rockseeker and the Spectator “Bob” were able to reinvigorate the wraps using the Forge of Spells. The blood stains have now been augmented with a shimmering residue and fine links of adamantine chain are now woven into the wraps.

During a short or long rest, or once per rest as a bonus action, the wielder may focus on the wraps and alter the residue infused into the wraps to choose from the following: Fire, Poison, Necrotic, Acid, Thunder, or Lightning.

Whenever the wielder finishes a short or long rest they gain a number of temporary hit points equal to their full ki points.

The wielder has a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with their unarmed strikes,  and deals an additional 2d6 damage of the type indicated by the residue on a hit.

The wraps inflicts critical damage on a natural 19 or 20.

As a bonus action, the wielder can cast the Misty Step spell. They cannot use this ability again until they score a critical hit with an unarmed strike or staff, or they complete a short or long rest.

When used to strike an object, the damage is automatically a critical hit.

Notes: Damage: Unarmed Attacks, Bonus: Unarmed Attacks, Damage: Unarmed Attacks, by a monk
