An amulet that with an effigy of a stuffed bear at the end, worn by the animal companion. When activated by a beast master ranger, their animal companion is consumed in a maelstrom of flame, giving the following benefits for the next minute (10 rounds):

• The animal companion's attacks now count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. If the animal companion already has this property from the Exceptional Training feature, the creature gains resistance to all fire damage.
• The animal companion's attacks do an additional 1d8 fire damage. This damage increases to 2d8 when the corresponding beast master reaches ranger level 6, 3d8 at ranger level 11, and 4d8 at ranger level 16.
• When the animal companion lands a critical hit, the target must make a constitution save equal to 8 + proficiency bonus + the animal companion's STR modifier. Failing this save stuns the target for one round.
• The animal companion gains advantage on all Charisma (Intimidation) checks.

This creature can use this feature a number of times equal to its CON modifier (at least once) per long rest. In addition, this feature ends prematurely if the creature is incapacitated in any way.
