It appears to be a head sized statue of a coiled dragon, when it is found the dragon is covered in soot. Beneath the soot if it is cleaned off, reveals an exquisite life like sapphire dragon statue. When the true form of the statue is revealed it begins to move and grow to the size of a young adult dragon. The dragon is immune to all magics and damage, other than ones that cover it back up, if the dragon is ever fully covered in material to the point there is no exposed sapphire it will shrink back to a statue. While it is a dragon it will begin turning all living things friend or foe into sapphire statues using its mystical fire breath (CON 19 to avoid per round). The dragon may target one creature within 30 ft per round. 1 hour after a target becomes a statue they animate under the dragons control and fight to guard the dragon. The only way to fix the statues states is to return the dragon to its stationary form.
