A glowing maroon-colored stone that emits a faint light and swirls from within. Faint sounds of the trapped souls can be heard from the stone.
The Soulbinder can store up to 10 charges. When you use an action to bind the stone to you by holding or wearing it, you may spend charges to do either of the following effects:
Absorb (0 charges). The stone lashes out dark red colored energy towards a creature. If the target has less than 1/4 of its hitpoints remaining, the creature must make a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or it dies and its soul is absorbed into the stone. The stone then gains charges equal to the size of the creature: medium (2), large (3), huge (4), gargantuan (6)
Heal (1 charge). While the stone is held or worn, the bound creature gains 3d8 hit points.
Hurt (1 charge). When the stone is pointed towards an enemy, a bright red crackling beam of light lashes out towards the target. The creature suffers 3d8 force damage.
Fortify (2 charges). When the stone is pushed against the creature's hands, a maroon-colored aura surrounds the creature. The creature's AC increases by 3 for two rounds.
Paralyze (2 charges). When the stone is pointed towards an enemy, a black and red swirling beam lashes out towards the target. The creature must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving through or become Paralyzed for 2 rounds.
A stone has AC 17, 200 hit points, and resistance to all damage.
When the stone is out of charges, the color shifts from a swirling maroon to a dull grey, losing all magic until a soul is consumed.
Notes: Ranged Weapon Attack: Force, Bonus: Armor Class, Paralyzed, Warding, Consumable
