Weapon (greatsword), rare (requires attunement by a When attaching a new Blade to the Hilt, the user must envision the Blade being attached as one whole piece rather than two separate parts for at least an hour. )

Hilt-

Appearance: This item has a long ribbed black leather handle with a geometric spike pommel. The cross-guard is similar to a claymore, the two branching 'arms' having a similar spiked geometric nature to the pommel. Above the hilt is a blade with a circular hole in the centre roughly deep enough to fit the handle of the standard longsword about two feet long and curving upward before cutting off to flat steel, as if the blade were cut cleanly in half. The steels used for the hilt is a dark grey steel, whereas the steel of the blade is a light grey.

Abilities:  When the other blades-The Fiend Slayer, The Lycan Slayer, and The Dead Slayer- they complete the greatsword, granting it the abilities of the inserted longsword. As well as the previous benefits, on a critical hit, this blade also deals and extra damage die to any creature regardless of type.

Blades-

The Fiend Slayer: The Fiend slayer is a long-sword with no cross-guard, the blade ending almost abruptly, as if cut in half and attached to a handle, with no pommel to match. The steel of this blade is a dull red, with a distinctly demonic design. This blade deals an extra damage die to any fiend creatures, and glows faintly if within 30 feet of a fiend. When attached to the hilt of the Slayer Blade, this blade gains the benefits of both abilities, with the damage and weapon properties of a greatsword.

The Lycan Slayer: The Lycan Slayer is a long-sword with no cross-guard, the blade ending almost abruptly, as if cut in half and attached to the handle, with no pommel to match. The steel of this blade is a shining silver, with a Germanic design. This blade deals an extra damage die to any lycanthrope creatures,  and glows faintly if within 30ft of a lycanthrope. When attached to the hilt of the Slayer Blade, this blade gains the benefits of both abilities, with the damage and weapon properties of a greatsword.

The Dead Slayer: The Dead Slayer is a long-sword with no cross-guard, the blade ending almost abruptly, as if cut in half and attached to a handle, with no pommel to match. The blade is a dark black steel, with an old Celtic design. This blade deals and extra damage die to any undead creatures, and glows faintly if within 30ft of an undead. When attached to the hilt of the Slayer Blade, this blade gains the benefits of both abilities, with the damage and weapon properties of a greatsword.

Note; The Dead, Fiend, Lycan, and Hilt parts of the Slayer Blade do not need to be in the same area, nor does the DM need to inform the players that The Slayer Blade has more than one fit to the hilt. When the Hilt section of the sword is without one of the Blades, the DM can decide of the two-feet of blade attached to the hilt can act as a shortsword or not.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: When attaching a new Blade to the Hilt, the user must envision the Blade being attached as one whole piece rather than two separate parts for at least an hour. , Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
