Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement by a proficient with martial weapons)

Ancient beyond reckoning, the Royal Blade of High King Umsala was not made for the hands of men for at the time of its forging there were no men.

The techniques used to craft this mighty weapon are lost to the long aeons that have passed since it's birth. It appears to be fashioned of bronze under primaeval stars, and yet it has cracked like fired clay.

Ancient power

Mechanically the Royal Blade of the High King is a +2 greatsword with the reach property. The blade holds d6 charges which renew every dawn. An attuned bearer of this weapon can use two different pant hoot/roars to activate unique properties of this magical weapon.

Leap of Umsala

By expending a charge, the bearer may leap straight upward, up to 40 feet. The bearer is not offered any superior protection for falling back to the ground. The Leap of Umsala is usually used to reach otherwise inaccessible ledges, branches or rooftops.

Umsalas Judgement

It must be able also to reach a height of 15 feet at the zenith of the leap. Making an attack roll and after checking if the attack is successful, but before rolling damage, the attacker can spend up to 3 charges to add a d6 damage dice per charge spent. The attacker must use at least one charge even if the attack is not successful.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
