This cowl seems to be very finely crafted from grey wolves' fur. It clasps around the shoulders with canine teeth-buttons that seem larger than a regular wolf should have.

When attuned, the bearer gains the following benefits:

Heart of the Wolf. Once per long rest the bearer can shapeshift into a Dire Wolf. They can maintain this shape for 1 hour. The rules for this are the same as the druidic Wild Shape ability (PHB p.66) unless stated otherwise in this description.
