This pistol has two barrels, and thus can be fired twice before it needs to reload. The pistol was designed by a gnome armorer for a wealthy adventuring noble would wanted a magical side arm to show off to his sword wielding companions.

The barrels are made of a blued steel, the stock is carved from ash, and is engraved with the three headed beast, Cerberus.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
