Armor (shield), very rare
While holding the shield, if you are successfully hit by an enemy, they take half the damage generated by their attack. If the enemy misses, they must roll for damage and succeed a DEX saving throw of 10, or take the full damage of their attack. This only works for Bludgeoning, Slashing, Piercing, and Force damage.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
