The Shield Of The Mounds is a gold shield of an ancient nature, believed to have been enchanted by the wizard Akiro, the chronicler of the Cimmerian, Conan. The shield is also believed to have protected the Princess of Zamora from a snake arrow of the deceased sorcerer Thulsa Doom.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
