The Shared Hands are a unique pair of linked rings that were forged and used by the Lotherel brothers before they were caught and executed in the Greenfields.  

The rings remain linked until each is grasped by a hand.  When the rings have been attuned they can be used to transport a small object from one ring to the other via a small portal.  The longer the rings are attuned, the more powerful they become (see power level chart below).

The portal opens and closes in a fraction of a second and cannot accommodate anything larger than what has been listed in the power level chart below.  The object is transported whether the receiving user is ready or not.  

If either of the rings is unattuned then both of the rings become unattuned, and the power level returns to base.

The rings will not work if either of the ringed hands are gloved.

Power Level Chart:

Base - Objects no larger than 6 inches square and no heavier than 5 lbs can be passed between the rings.

Shining - Objects no larger than 1 square foot and no heavier than 15 lbs can be passed between the rings.

Glowing - Objects no larger than 2 feet square and no heavier than 25 lbs can be passed between the rings.  Spell effects that are released via one hand can be passed between rings as long as the size of the spell effect is no larger that 6 inches square and the spell level is of 3 or lower.

Luminous - Objects no larger than 2 feet wide and 6 feet long, and no heavier than 50 lbs can be passed between the rings.  Spell effects that are released via one hand can be passed between rings regardless of size or level.

Notes: The rings of Lotherel are attuned simultaneously on a long rest
