This scythe contains the sealed form of the sin "Gluttony" and is a cursed, magical artifact. It is made from a mixture of Adamantine and the soul of Gluttony, making it nearly indestructable.
When a creature attempts to attune to The Scythe have them roll 2d100. If either dice land on a 1 or a 100 the creature will have succesfully attuned.
Upon failure to attune the creature will instead "Half-Attune" to The Scythe, release its curse and first power only. (This will take a full attunment slot).
Upon a success the creature will fully attune to The Scythe, releasing its curse, first power, and second power.
Curse:
This scythe requires you consume at least 25 of another’s HP each day you are attuned to it or it will consume 1 of your maximum HP. Each collective week you are attuned to this item it will require 1 more HP to be consumed. (after a week it’ll need 26, then 27, 28, 29, etc.)
1st Power:
When the hit roll counts as a critical you are able to consume half of all damage you dealt using this weapon for your turn. Add these to your Hp and place any excess into your Temporary Health Pool. (Temporary health fades after 1 day and does not stack).
2nd Power:
When attuned to aperson the user can use a bonus action to make the scythe to grow smaller or larger with the word “sow” or “reap” respectively. When small the scythe has a 5 foot reach, appears as a sickle, and can hit 1 target for 4d8 magical and physical slashing damage. At size two the reach grows to 10 feet and you can attack up to 5 seperate targets for half damage in one turn. At size 3 the Sythe has a 15 foot reach and does halve damage-1d8 to any number of targets in the Attack Radius. (The Scythe’s default state is size 2).
Should This weapon ever be realeased the "Sin of Gluttony" will be released. (monster sheet not yet made).
Proficiency with a Sickle allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
