Weapon (dagger), rare

Bought in trios, throwing knives are primarily used to target enemies at a distance with substantial damage. The knives do 1d10 piercing each and multiple can be thrown at a time with one hand at a range of 15/30 feet. If you are not proficient with the knives, you can only throw up to two at a time, and if you are, then you can throw 4. The assassin, thief, and soulknife subclasses are proficient with this item. This Item is a martial weapon.

If you attack with this item from stealth with your target not knowing you are there, then on hit, the target is stunned for one round.

For each additional knife thrown, you lose 1 point to hit (ie if normally you have +4 to hit, with throwing two at the same time it becomes +3). This loss does not apply to the first knife but only the ones added, and each knife has an individual roll to hit.

If used as a melee weapon, you have a disadvantage and the weapon now does 1d6.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Ranged Weapon Attack: Piercing, Stunned, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
