The Santos Spyglass allows the user to make any active checks that rely on sight (perception, investigation, insight, survival) to objects or creatures further than 60ft away with advantage.

Additionally, using this spyglass the user can learn key information about a target by observing their mannerisms. Once per day, if you spend 10 minutes looking at at a creature through the spyglass you can mark that target for 1 hour. This has multiple benefits:

• Any attack made against this target will do an additional d6 of damage.
• Any attacks made by the target to the user will suffer a -1 penalty to their attack roll.
• You are immune from being frightened by the target. 

Notes: For attunement, this spyglass must be passed down from a captain to their crew mate.
