The Sapphire Eye is a powerful magical item coveted by mages and warriors alike who wish to keep an ever-vigilant watch over their enemies. While attuned to the eye, you gain the following properties:

• You gain Darkvision if you don't have it already, and you are able to see through magical darkness.
• You can cast the scrying spell once per long rest.

Foresee Danger.

Additionally, you can choose to channel all the magic of the eye towards protecting yourself from harm. As an action, you can activate the Eye's Foresee Danger ability, which functions identically to the foresight spell with a duration of 10 minutes. After using this ability, roll a d12. on a 1, the Eye is turned to mundane stone and loses all magical abilities. You can't use this ability again until the next dawn.
