You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon which becomes +2 when attuned
Fashioned at a forge of Abyssal damnation, this jagged implement was created for a Death Knight bound in service to the Demogorgon. From pommel to point the longsword is an impressive four feet in length with jagged, rune-carved blade of dull damascened steel. The abyssal indentations adorning the full length of the blade culminate at a jagged cross-guard and flayed-flesh wrapped hilt. The pommel bears a frosty jewel that swirls with eldritch power. When held, the runes pulsate the same frosty blue light as the blade becomes enveloped by a pale blue glow and the steel becomes colder to the touch.
While holding the longsword you can use an action to force each creature you can see within 30 feet of you to make a DC 17 constitution saving throw. On a failure the target is frozen in place till the start of your next turn. On a success the target's movement speed is halved until your next turn. The target also takes [roll]4d4[/roll] frost damage, half on a successful save
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
