You are proficient with this monk weapon. These wrappings are magical and, once activated all attacks made with them deal magical damage. As an action, before battle you can choose which energy you wish to channel for the next ten minutes.
Fire - A flame burns from your palms and knuckles dealing an additional 1d6 fire damage to your first attack once per round. Both a natural 19 and natural 20 are treated as a critical hit on this first attack. Not only is the damage doubled, but you can spend a Ki point to burst the flame. The creature must make a Dex 14 save to dodge the flame burst. On a failed save it is set aflame and takes 1d8 damage until the flame is extinguished.
Light - The light of Ioun shines from your palms and knuckles dealing an additional 1d6 divine damage to your first attack once per round. Both a natural 19 and natural 20 are treated as a critical hit on this first attack. Not only is the damage doubled, but you can spend a Ki point to create a light shield around yourself granting a +2 to AC until the end of your next turn.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
