"For whom the bell tolls..."

While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

This curious shield is made of a brass-like metal that rings dolorously when struck. Its circular face is polished to a mirror shine, and etched on the rim are symbols and runes of a mystical nature.

Whenever an attack misses you within 3 or less of your Armor Class, you may use your reaction to absorb the blow with the shield, causing it to ring and reverberate clamorously, creating a loud sound that can be heard from 100 feet away. The attacker must then make a DC 14 Charisma saving throw. If it fails, it is stunned and deafened until the end of it's next turn. 

This shield does not manifest any of it's effects until attuned with.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
