A solid gold scale inlaid with an all seeing eye at the top. When a person touches the scales it weighs their soul. A person deemed non righteous by the scales cannot pick it up, and takes 1d10+5 Psychic damage when touching it. A person deemed righteous can wield the scales to further their quest.

While attuned to the scales, the holder gains a +1 to Strenght, Dexterity, and Intelligence scores, while suffering from a -2 Charisma.

Cursed: This item is cursed and cannot be uncursed. The person who wields the scales must finish their quest of righteousness or be consumed by madness by the scale. If the wielder should ever stray, the scales begin to tip. At first it is bad dreams and headaches, advancing to fevers, then exhaustion, and finally death.
