This legendary book has been used by countless generations of spellcasters, manifesting their learning in magical ink on its pages. When a spellcaster attuned to this book learns or creates a new spell it magically write's their though process down, reproducing the basic form of the spell. The attuned wizard is also able to magically decipher the unique system of notation used by the previous wizard's who's thoughts were manifest it, regardless of the language or cryptology it was written in.

When attuned, this item it acts as your spell book and you do not have to expend gold on the material components of learning new spells, as it directly manifests your thoughts on the page, drawing on all the knowledge of it's previous owners.

The book's appearance changes, directly influenced by the personality of the user, though it always retains the basic form of a book. 

If the spellbook is destroyed while you are attuned to it, you can spend an hour a day for a week to reconstruct it, the time it takes for the magical energies contained within the book to re-form around your memories of it. If it is destroyed while you are not attuned to it, the book reforms in a place that has great significance to it it's past, left up to the DM.
