Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a wizard)

Bound in dragonhide, this thick tome's binding and cover are adorned with golden filigree. The front cover is titled, in flowing script, "The Young Lady's Storied Companion" with an accompanying attribution to "Aximathinaculous the Wise". The tome appears to be a traditional storybook, with an index listing 5 stories (listed below). However, on closer inspection it is revealed that no-matter how many pages are turned, more remain. Each of the stories is rendered in simple draconic with accompanying pop-up illustrations. Reading the text of the stories places the reader(s) into a magically induced stupor, where they experience the events of the story in a dream-like sequence. Each story, in addition to chronicling the life of an unnamed princess, contains the necessary information to cast a single spell.

You can use The Young Lady's Storied Companion as a spellbook which contains the spells included in the stories in addition to any new spells you scribe into it as normal. When you prepare wizard spells using The Storied Companion, the number of wizard spells you can prepare increases by 1

Once per week you may use The Storied Companion to cast legend lore without using material components.
