Weapon (longsword), uncommon

It is said this blade contains the soul of a petty and spiteful demon. The Spurned will heap blessings and affection upon it's weilder, but will angrily lash out should it feel unappreciated.

Adoration: When attacking with this weapon, the applicable stat used for hit/dmg is doubled.

Spite: Upon scoring a critical hit, the spirit within this sword will become enraged, fearing it's weilder will attribute their success to their own skill, rather than the blade's adoration. The Spurned will either outright refuse to damage the target, or cause the weilder to take half of the damage dealt. Effect is determined by rolling percentile dice, and choosing which effect will trigger should the result be below or above 50.

Abandoned: This weapon must be carried at all times. If the owner is separated from The Spurned for one hour, the bonus from Adoration is revoked, until the sword is retrieved, and the player takes a long rest.

Jealousy: All attacks made with any weapon besides The Spurned are at disadvantage.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Choose Strength or Dexterity, Damage: Melee Weapon Attacks, Versatile, Sap
