Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement by a Paladin or Lawful Good aligned character)

Worn by great and virtuous heroes throughout the ages, this suit of armor is a masterwork of craftsmanship, with golden filigree and steel done to a mirror polish. It has a magical allure to it which can be made into a literal glow, shining like the sun.


Properties

Shining: The armor glows, shedding dim golden-white light around you for 15 feet. You have advantage on Persuasion checks against creatures in the light, which you can extinguish or light with no action. You can also use a bonus action to speak the command word, causing the armor to shed bright light around you for 15 feet, and dim light 15 feet beyond that for one minute; for the duration, attack rolls against you have disadvantage, and enemies that end their turn in the bright light are Blinded for one round. You can use this property once before a short rest.

Golden: You have resistance to Radiant damage.

Magical: The armor has a +1 bonus to AC.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
