This breastplate was the original design of Ix, the creator and innovator of Blixon and Thrixon, the two most common and popular materiel for weapons and armor. This was an enhanced set of Thrixon armor, probably carried by a mid-ranked officer. This armor is enhanced with a lightning substance known as Tirite.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
